At Tempe Life we believe church is more than an event you go to once a week… it’s who you are. And it’s not really rocket science. We follow Jesus. We live life together. We serve our community and one another.
We are everyday people from all walks of life, some of us wear ties and others wear tattoos; we are professionals and beach bums, punk rockers and home-schooling moms; we come from many backgrounds, denominations, experiences. At Tempe Life we are a diverse family of believers united by our common relationship with Jesus Christ.

OUR BELIEFS
When it comes to doctrine, culture, preferences, traditions, lifestyles, politics, behavior, etc., Tempe Life Church takes a “closed-hand/open-hand” approach. The closed hand hangs onto the non-negotiable tenets of Christian orthodoxy: sin is the problem, Jesus is the answer, the Bible is true, and Hell is hot. OUR MISSION
To Know Jesus – To Be Like Jesus – To Do What Jesus Did
KNOW – We want to know all we can about Jesus by reading His word, the Bible, and being led by His Spirit, who inspired the Bible.
BE – We want to be like Jesus in thought and character, displaying love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control through our lives (Gal. 5:22-23). This is how we show transformation.
DO – We are ready to do his work, “Go make disciples of all nations…” (Matt 28:18-19). Practically, we show this by discipleship groups, intentional evangelism and missional living.
OUR HISTORY
Tempe Life Church is a new church in the Tempe area. It was planted out of Impact Church in Scottsdale. With its beginnings in a living room with a group of people wanting to reach Tempe for Jesus, Tempe Life is now a growing community of Christ-followers united around the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are humbled that God has placed us in Tempe to join Jesus as He works in and through the lives of His people.
