As a community, we are drawn to service in living out our commission to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Recognizing the importance of both giving and receiving, we pour back into our community the gifts we have received from God. And through this intermingling of different gifts, we see a beautiful portrait of the body of Christ.
How do I volunteer at Tempe Life Church?
What opportunities are available?
Tempe Life Church has many areas of ministry that are made up of multiple volunteer teams who serve on Sundays and throughout the week. Email us at info@tempelifechurch.com when you decide which one of the teams below you would like to serve on and which service (10:30AM or 6:00PM) you would like to serve at. Someone will then contact you about your next step.
Hospitality & Guest Services
Hospitality & Guest Service teams believe that first impressions make a huge impact. These teams are made up of individuals who love creating welcoming environments for every guest at Tempe Life Church.
Greeters: Do you have a love for people that shines through your warm, friendly smile and pleasant handshake? If you have an outgoing and inviting personality we would love to invite you to join us as a Greeter to welcome visitors that come to worship at our Sunday services. The goal of the Greeter team is to welcome people with love so that when they sit in their seat and service begins, they feel accepted and grateful to be at Tempe Life Church.
Ushers: Our Usher team welcomes and guides our guests into the sanctuary so they may enjoy the worship service at Tempe Life Church. Our Usher team assists with locating seats, facilitating offering, and are alert to the enjoyment and safety of each visitor. If you enjoy helping people, we have a place for you on our Usher team!

Kids Life
Our Children’s Ministry volunteers are people with a passion to see children experience Jesus on their level. Volunteers serve kids, birth through 4 years old, & K-6th in safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way.
Creative & Technical
From setting up and running sound to trouble-shooting computer issues, the Creative and Technical Arts teams use their skills in media production and technology to serve the advancement of the gospel through Tempe Life Church.
Worship & Arts
One of our dreams at Tempe Life Church is to become an epicenter for Gospel-centered creative and artistic expression. We desire to be a place where musicians, singers and artists gather to use their gifts, talents and passions to creatively communicate the Gospel.
